From 11–13 September 2026, ATSA embarked on a meaningful journey to the 13th TM Interclub Taekwondo Championship 2026 at Nilai Arena Stadium, Negeri Sembilan, bringing together 11 students for their first interclub journey as a team. Their competition journey, however, did not begin in September — it began back in April, with months of consistent training, patient guidance and gradual progress. We never believe in rushing a student simply for the sake of competition results. At ATSA, we value the process of learning, building confidence, developing discipline and becoming better step by step. What may look like a small improvement in class today can become the confidence a student carries onto the competition floor tomorrow. After months of steady preparation, our students stepped forward to face new opponents, new surroundings and new challenges, with Alya Medina, Kimberly Suin, Ainun Ameena, Ahmad Hud, Michelle and Khaizuran returning with medals. Yet, for us, the medals are only one part of the journey. What matters just as much is seeing students become more confident, learn to support one another, manage challenges and discover what they are capable of. This journey was made even more meaningful with the support of our parents, who travelled with us, cheered for the students and shared every part of the experience. Beyond the competition, we had time to relax, have fun and create memories together — and through these shared moments, our ATSA family grew even closer. At ATSA, we believe every student has their own pace and their own journey. What matters is that they keep learning, keep improving and keep moving forward. From training to competition, from challenges to laughter, every experience becomes part of their growth. And perhaps, these are the moments that make the journey worthwhile — not only the medals we bring home, but the confidence, friendships and memories we gain along the way.
Our primary goal in this competition is to provide each student with a meaningful experience that enhances their confidence and independence. We believe that focusing on one category allows our students to fully dedicate themselves to their preparation and performance, ensuring they gain the most from this valuable opportunity.
While we understand the excitement of competing in multiple categories, we encourage each participant to focus on just one poomsae category or one sparring category. This approach allows us to concentrate on quality over quantity, emphasizing personal growth rather than the pursuit of numerous medals. Our focus is on fostering resilience, determination, and independence—skills that will serve them well both in and out of the competition arena.
Additionally, we kindly remind you that students are expected to participate independently, which includes traveling with the team and sharing meals together without parental supervision. This is an integral part of the learning experience, helping them build camaraderie and self-reliance. We look forward to witnessing their growth and success at the upcoming competition.
