Sandakan 01-05 May 2024, ATSA Taekwondo Academy proudly marked another achievement at the 2nd Sabah East Coast Taekwondo Championship, held in Sandakan from May 1st to May 5th, 2024. Demonstrating skill and determination, the academy's 10 talented athletes left an indelible mark on the competition, returning home with a remarkable total of 13 medals: 8 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze.

What's truly inspiring is that every single ATSA representative stood on the podium, an achievement that reflects not only their dedication and hard work but also the exceptional guidance from their coaches. This event highlights ATSA's mission to develop young athletes into confident and accomplished martial artists who compete with integrity and sportsmanship.

The championship experience was not just about the competition; it was also a journey that embodied the spirit of community and camaraderie. The athletes, accompanied by five dedicated parents, embarked on the journey from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan. The support and encouragement from these parents were invaluable, creating a family-like atmosphere that uplifted the entire team. Their presence ensured that the young competitors felt cared for, confident, and motivated throughout the event.
